Sometimes families and students need more than just the connection with the school and academics. That's where community partnerships with organizations like ¡HICA! can make a difference.

The purpose of the partnership between the Empower Academy programs and ¡HICA! is to support students and families at different levels. Students can get support from the coaches with academics and literacy skills and for the social emotional learning (SEL). Families get a closer look at their academic life, and they can be engaged in fully participating in their students’ lives in the schools.
