Jefferson County District Attorney Danny Carr and the League of Gentlemen generously donated two brand-new bicycles to celebrate scholars who were present and ready to learn on the first day of school at Tuggle Elementary School!
During the giveaway, District Attorney Danny Carr highlighted that recognizing students for being present sends a powerful message that attendance matters and that their community is invested in their success.
"Thank you Attorney Carr for helping to create excitement around coming to school and reinforcing the importance of being present every day,” said Tuggle Elementary Principal Dr. Elizabeth Chiles.
