During its regularly scheduled board meeting on July 21, the Birmingham Board of Education presented the College Choice Foundation with the Power of Partnership Award for the organization’s outstanding service to our schools.

Students receive one-on-one mentoring, ACT preparation, college admissions guidance, financial aid assistance and opportunities to visit colleges across the country during the transition to college and throughout their college journey.

Students also benefit from ongoing work, mentorship, college readiness programming, academic guidance, mental health support and emergency financial assistance that helps remove barriers to their success.
