For the third consecutive year, Martha Gaskins Elementary School is the top UNCF fundraiser among Birmingham City Schools with more than $10,000 over the span.
The organization treated scholars to a pizza party today to commemorate the feat!
Casi Ferguson, Area Development Director for UNCF in Birmingham, also presented Principal Dr. Herbert Blackmon, Jr. with roundtrip airline tickets to the destination of his choice as a token of appreciation for his efforts. Instructional Superintendent Dr. Gwendolyn Tilghman was also on hand to congratulate the students for their efforts!
