Hayden Gray made history by winning the BCS Golf Championship, competing against and defeating players from five other high schools at Roebuck Golf Course today.
She was the only female representative for her team and played a key role in leading the program to a perfect 4-0 season.
This accomplishment is especially significant as Hayden becomes the first female golfer in school history to win a Birmingham City Championship for P.D. Jackson-Olin High School.
“Hayden’s performance this season represents discipline, confidence, and competitive excellence at the highest level. She didn’t just compete—she set the standard. Making history as our first female city champion while leading an undefeated season speaks volumes about her work ethic and leadership,” said Coach Robert Coker.
