Golf is a family affair at A.H. Parker High School.
Today at the second annual A.H. Parker Invitational Golf Tournament, Parker Principal Darrell Hudson, Sr. was honored as the new namesake for the competition.
Now known as the Darrell Hudson Sr. Parker Invitational Golf Tournament, the event is free to players due to funding provided by Principal Hudson.
Players from Parker, Ramsay, Huffman, and Jackson-Olin competed in this year's edition, but it was Darrell Hudson, Jr. who emerged as the overall winner for the second consecutive year. Ramsay High School freshman Taliyah Bonner placed first among the girls.
