The Alabama House of Representatives recognized Superintendent Dr. Mark Sullivan today for his leadership and impact in education with a formal resolution.
The resolution was introduced by Rep. Mary Moore and supported by the Jefferson County delegation. Members of the board and executive cabinet were on hand for the presentation.
Last month, Dr. Sullivan received the Outstanding Superintendent of the Year award from the Alabama Education Association, which prompted the resolution.
