Wenonah Champs

Last season, Wenonah fell to Sylacauga by a single point. This time around, the Dragons made up that deficit and then some.

After trailing 4-0 early, the Dragons hit the accelerator and were unstoppable for the remaining 30 minutes, winning the AHSAA 5A Boys Basketball Championship for the first time since 2019. The final score of 101-40 set a new state record for margin of victory in a final.
