Starting with a networking event on Wednesday at the Birmingham Museum of Art and concluding with its annual hiring fair Thursday at A.H. Parker High School, Birmingham City Schools' spring hiring event attracted dozens of educators and job seekers. 

As evidenced by the overflowing parking lot at Parker, the hiring fair was a resounding success. More than 200 candidates attended the hiring event, with 50 job offers were extended.
