Annie Shepard, head custodian at W.J. Christian K-8 School, was recognized for Customer Service for November at last night's board meeting.

"Shepard is dedicated and takes pride in her work daily, ensuring that students', faculty and staff have a clean building and she's always upbeat," said Principal Mario J. Lumzy. "She is a team player and lends a helping hand wherever needed.

"She makes sure she gets to know students by name, greets them each day as they enter the building, and does the same for parents."
