Second semester Anatomy dissections have officially arrived in Mrs. Miles' class! 🔬
Our Anatomy students are diving hands-on into rat dissections, comparing rat anatomy to human anatomy to deepen their understanding of the human body. Along the way, they’re mastering anatomical structures and directional terms used in medical and health science careers.

Visitors from the Institute for Education Innovation toured G.W. Carver High School today! They were introduced to our Career Academies and Empower Academy, the district’s newcomers program and were treated to a performance from our internationally-recognized choir performed.
🔬🐄 Yesterday, our freshmen had an incredible college-level science lab experience dissecting a cow’s eye!

Congratulations to Ladarrius Tate! Ladarrius was honored at the Quincy Williams Holiday Giveback on Friday for persevering through trying times and demonstrating outstanding character.
