We are proud to announce that Mrs. Stokes is the 2026-2027 G.W. Carver Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Stokes has transformed our library into a true 21st-century learning hub, inspiring a love of reading while creating opportunities for our Rams to connect, discover new interests, and grow. From providing a space to unwind after a tough day and introducing students to their next favorite book to co-teaching lessons, facilitating engaging workshops, leading clubs and programs, and coaching our Esports team, she makes the library a place where every student belongs.
Thank you, Mrs. Stokes, for creating a space where our students feel safe, supported, and inspired. ❤️💙📚

Here's what's happening next week at G.W. Carver High School. See you tomorrow, Rams!
National School Lunch Week was created in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy to highlight the importance of healthy school lunches. This year, the official theme is Cafeteria Circus: Where Nutrition Takes Center Stage -- which makes our lunchrooms the Greatest Show on Earth! #SuccessStartsHere 🍽️
Intersession Week is flying by! Our Rams are taking advantage of this time to get extra help as we close out the first 9 weeks.
Yesterday, we celebrated the commitment coaches across the country pour into their students. We’re especially grateful for our amazing G.W. Carver coaches, who are always there to support us, hold us accountable, and inspire us to be our best. ❤️💙

We may have missed National Custodian Day on Friday, but we couldn’t let the opportunity pass without recognizing our incredible Carver custodial team! ❤️💙
Every day, this team works behind the scenes to keep more than 200,000 square feet of our school clean, safe, and ready for our Rams. Their hard work often happens before many of us arrive and continues long after the school day is underway.
We were happy to treat our team to breakfast on Friday, but today we want to give them a public THANK YOU for all they do for G.W. Carver High School! ❤️💙
