G.W. Carver High School hosted the annual June Tunes concert today in its auditorium. The recital serves as a culmination to the June Tunes band camp, where scholars from across the district attend to advance their instrumental skills. 🥁🎷🎺

Congratulations to our Carver Math Team for placing in the BCS District Math Tournament. MiKaila Woods, 9th grade, received the 2nd Place Individual Award for Geometry with Data Analysis. Kinjah-El Muhammad, 10th grade, earned the 1st Place Individual Award for Algebra I with Probability. Our 10th grade math team earned 1st Place in the district for Algebra l with Probability. As a bilingual future healthcare professional, Michelle is uniquely prepared to connect with and serve multicultural and multilingual communities through compassionate and culturally responsive care.
