BCRI’s Legacy Youth Leadership Program is a hands-on, 12-month experience that equips students with tools for civic engagement, personal development, and social change—grounded in Birmingham’s rich civil rights legacy.

To provide a better way of keeping our parents informed and involved, our BCS app has been updated to give you one, single place to see all of your messages for all BCS schools. This means you can see messages from each of your children’s teachers in one central location. In the app, you can read, reply, or start new messages. Rooms, our two-way communication tool can be found on our BCS app. We will begin using Rooms on January 12, 2026. Rooms will help you stay connected with your child’s teachers and school staff. We will no longer utilize ClassDojo after January 9, 2026
