Huffman’s Carlos Smith Awarded Esports Scholarship from Miles College

During a ceremony held at Huffman High School today, Class of 2026 graduate Carlos Smith signed a scholarship offer from Miles College to play esports.

The reigning AHSAA champion in Madden 26, Smith is the second Viking to earn a scholarship in the growing sport. Class of 2025 graduate Robert Miller signed with the University of Montevallo in August 2025.
