After spreading holiday cheer at Carver yesterday, our Student Government Association continued the joy by reading Christmas books and singing holiday songs with second graders at Hudson K-8! 🎄❤️ #NAWF

The Carver Academy of Engineering Project Lead the Way Capstone course presented their final projects today to district leadership, their peers, and Academy advisory board members. The students researched problems to world problems and designed prototypes. #SuccessStartsHere

Long before last week’s JAG Officer Installation, our officers and members were already hard at work on their Socktober Drive to support those in need. Together, they collected 236 pairs of socks! Outstanding job, Rams! 🧦❤️💙 #ExcellenceIsTheStandard

Our Forensic Science scholars in Mrs. Miles’ class were hard at work today! 🔍✨ Students observed the structural and chemical properties of hair to better understand how investigators use these details to solve real-world cases. Hands-on learning like this prepares our Rams to think critically, analyze evidence, and explore exciting paths in forensic science. 🧪🧫 #ExcellenceIsTheStandard

Today, Mrs. Miles’ Anatomy students explored the nervous system up close with a sheep brain dissection, helping them better understand its structure, function, and connection to the human body. Real world learning at its best! 🔬#ExcellenceIsTheStandard

Today, Mrs. Dansby’s Physical Science scholars had the incredible opportunity to learn from Zion Sharpe and his colleagues from GASP (Greater-Birmingham Alliance to Stop Pollution) as they shared powerful insights about pollution in North Birmingham. Their expertise is helping our students understand the real-world impact of environmental challenges as they use chemistry to explore meaningful solutions for their community. We are grateful for partners like GASP who pour into our young scientists and inspire them to create change!

Congratulations to Franklin Juarez for being named November Employee of the Month for Commercial Construction at the Academy of Craft Training! During the Thanksgiving break, Franklin enjoyed his first paid internship with the program. We are so proud of you, Franklin! #ExcellenceIsTheStandard
